What an exciting year we have had. We have been so blessed to work with established as well as new community partners this year, while continuing to increase the number of women we have been able to serve. We are continuing to develop programs to support women who are diagnosed with cancer in our community. We have nine years of success and a proven track record of programs that work.

We all hope and pray that a cure will be found in our lifetime. However, until a cure is found, thousands of women (approx 180,000 this year alone), will continue to be diagnosed with breast cancer. They will face the same fear and desperation that we all felt at the beginning of our journeys. That is why we exist. Our goal is to reduce the fear and isolation that this disease causes, by offering support to the patient and by teaching her friends and family members to provide support in a helpful way so she doesn't have to go through it alone.

We have developed a 3-5 year strategy to take our programs nationwide. Our next step is to launch an affiliate in Seattle and to bring hope to every woman in the Northwest. Oregon and Washington are ranked number 1 and 2 in the country for incidence of breast cancer. We also want to strengthen our current partners in Florida, Michigan, Mississippi, Colorado, and Southern California. We are committed to our new strategy while maintaining our strong Oregon Affiliate.

All of our programs are free, but unfortunately, everything we do costs money. In order to make sure that we stay strong we are asking for your support.
